Advocacy

 CCADV provides a strong, unified voice for victims of domestic violence and their children. We focus on increasing safety and improving options available to victims. CCADV provides statewide leadership on public policy issues by promoting legislation, systems and procedural changes in order to improve the response to domestic violence in Connecticut.

Victim Advocacy

CCADV assists domestic violence victims and survivors with referrals to their local domestic violence program.

Public Policy Advocacy

Through education and advocacy with systems affecting domestic violence victims and victim service providers, CCADV provides a strong unified voice to encourage and implement positive change. CCADV acts as the statewide voice for any legislation that improves the lives of victims of domestic violence and those who serve them.

Coalition Building & Networking

CCADV facilitates coalition-building on a regional, state and national level; participating on relevant statewide and national advisory committees, task forces and work groups; networking and collaborating with systems and organizations that work with victims of domestic violence.
