Safety Children

Safety plan with your children.

• Devise a code word to use with your children, family, friends, and neighbors when you need the police.
• Teach your children how to dial 911.
• Make sure they know a safe place for them (a room with a lock, a neighbor’s house).
• Reassure them that the violence is not their fault and that you want to be sure they stay safe.
