WTNH: Men honored for fighting domestic violence

CROMWELL >> One hundred men were honored this morning for their efforts in the fight against domestic violence in the state, as they work to raise awareness and help victims.

Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence is thanking them for their work, but why honor just men?

"What we absolutely recognize is that men are part of the solution. They are leaders, they're mentors, they're role models," said Karen Jarmoc, CCADV Executive Director.
