Thanks to all of those who helped make the 3rd Annual First 100 Plus breakfast and awards ceremony a success! The First 100 Plus awards ceremony was established was established in 2011 to recognize 100 male leaders who work to improve the lives of domestic violence victims either statewide or in their local community. These men demonstrate their dedication to raising awareness about the availability of services.
We were honored to be joined by Governor Dannel P. Malloy, Attorney General George Jepsen and State Comptroller Kevin Lembo to recognize this year's class of 100 men working to improve the lives of domestic violence victims across the state. It was also our privilege to recognize the dedicated work of the Verizon Foundation as our Lawrence & Shirley Bostrom Pillars of Change and Garry Lapidus of CT Children's Medical Center/Hartford Hospital as our Coalition Crusader.
We also launched our new 10x10 Campaign, Connecticut first statewide speakers' bureau of men talking to other men and boys about healthy relationships and preventing intimate partner violence, dating violence and stalking. Learn more about the 10x10 Campaign.
