The Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CCADV) has received a significant donation of safety and personal health supplies from AT&T to assist the organization as it continues to carry out its mission during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last week, the delivery containing $25,000-worth of supplies arrived at the CCADV headquarters in Glastonbury. The delivery included 6,000 reusable face coverings and three pallets of hand sanitizer, containing approximately 4,000 bottles in various sizes.

“We are deeply grateful to our partners at AT&T for their ongoing leadership to support the needs of survivors and the dedicated advocates who serve those survivors every day,” said Steve Eppler-Epstein, Interim Chief Executive Officer, CCADV. “During the pandemic we have seen survivors facing increasingly complex situations. The supplies donated by AT&T will facilitate the ability of our advocates to provide much needed services, while also ensuring that survivors and their children can access free health supplies.”

The Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence will distribute the supplies to the 18 shelters and facilities that serve survivors around the state.

“Now more than ever, it is critical to ensure organizations like The Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence have the resources they need to continue their important work,” said John Emra, President – AT&T New England. “The Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence impacts lives across the state and we’re grateful that we have an opportunity to support their efforts with these supplies.”
